​We are a congregation of believers who work diligently to preserve a sense of family among the brethren.  Although we are called Mount Zion Baptist Church, we regard ourselves simply as an Independent Bible-believing church, governed by the Lord Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible.

Our mission is to:

  • Develop a multi-regional and multi-racial congregation headquartered in Valley Township, committed to:

    • Expository Preaching,

    • Biblical and demonstrative praise and worship,

    • Small group discipleship,

    • Specific ministry to the fatherless,

    • An aggressive and innovative Evangelism that does not only spread into the community but around the world focused on glorifying God.

  • Develop mature disciples of Jesus Christ to impact the world by seeking to equip and establish the believers in the Word of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that everyone will demonstrate FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE as found in 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3.

  • Provide viable approaches and training programs to empower these believers to reach unbelievers, comprehensively as a local church as well as corporately with other churches.
