  • God's people must not be prideful
  • Pride reminds God of Satan
  • Jesus did many miracles but only a few in His own town because of pride and unbelief (Mark 6:4-6)
  • We have to make sure we are not prideful
  • Pride undermines our faith
  • We must recognize that we need to stay humble
  • Recognize our need for God and our inability to save ourselves
  • Recognize where our power and help comes from  its all God and not ourselves

  • Repentance is vital to turn from sin and to turn toward God
  • Even though God forgives us, we must repent to grow and to have freedom
  • When we are in sin, we are hiding from God
  • When we hold grudges, that is a spirit of bondage
  • The problem is that when we are in sin, we're in bondage
  • Growth can be hindered because of unrepentance of sin
  • We need an open communication with God because He is the one that is in control of our lives
  • Repentance makes an inward change a visible reality
