  1. Paul's plea to the believers
    1. Be imitators of God and walk in love as Christ also has loved us
    2. The word walk for the believer is a key matter for Paul
    3. The walk has to be a worthy walk (Ephesians 4:1)
    4. Worthy - living to match one's position in Christ in our daily conduct
    5. Our conduct ought to bring glory and honor to God
    6. Our walk ought to be a different walk from the world (Ephesians 4:17)

    7. Christians are part of the body of Christ and have been spiritually gifted by the Holy Spirit and should not live like the ungodly

    8. The Holy Spirit sifts our prayer and look at the heart of the person

    9. Our spirit ought to identify with one another in Christ and ought to edify each other

    10. We ought to walk as Jesus walked (1 John 2:6)

    11. We ought to walk in the Light (Ephesians 5:8)

  2. The example
    1. God made no condition for his love for us and commanded that we love others without conditions
    2. To love as God love is to love sacrificially
    3. Five offerings: 
  • Burnt offering depicts Christ's perfection (Leviticus 1-17)
  • Grain offering depicts Christ's total devotion to God to please the Father (Leviticus 2:1-16)
  • Peace offering depicts Christ's peacemaking between God and man (Leviticus 3:1-17)
  •  The other two were for sins

     3. Responsibility to abstain from evil practices

  1. Believers are to abstain from fornication, foolish talk, coarse jesting, gossip, etc.
  2. We cannot say that we love Jesus and still live the same old way without any change
  3. We ought to be giving thanks and have an attitude of gratitude
  4. We ought to learn to be content with what God has blessed us with
  5. Whatever God establishes, Satan will try to counterfeit
  6. Satan is anti God; he wants to be like God that he made an unholy trinity: Satan, the beast, and the false prophet
  7. God designed sex for married couples
  8. Paul shows that there is no place for uncleanliness in the Christian life
  9. God shows how he feels about fornication  (Numbers 25:1-9) and homosexuality (Genesis 19:1-28)
